Health systems nationwide are setting themselves up for a patient privacy revolt. It doesn’t have to be this way; far from it. But their blundering, holier-than-thou attitude regarding secondary uses of patient data is frankly infuriating.

There was no mistaking the content of the presentations, the message of their tools and deployments, or the explicit questions focused on users presenting different ways they have leveraged the Salesforce Health Cloud.
As the virtual care landscape continues to grow and shift, many questions surrounding the future of remote patient management are emerging. Issues ranging from accessibility, to devices, infrastructure, and more are all facets of the remote care model that should be thoroughly explored. Providers who use these platforms will need to have a thorough grasp on the unique issues surrounding this type of care going forward in this competitive marketplace.
