Taking A Break to Rip Some Runs

by | Mar 18, 2009

downhill_skiingBeen a fast and furious last few months.  Change in administration, huge Stimulus Bill with big implications to HIT, continuing moves in the “Health Cloud”, minor annoyances from pesky association lawyers, and the list goes on.

Whew – I need a break.

And break I will take.  Upon leaving Las Vegas later this afternoon, I will drop in on family living in one of the states I love best Colorado (lived there in those formative junior high and high school years) where I plan to beat myself silly ripping down those beautiful Colorado Rockies on a pair of skis. (Praying for powder)

While I will not completely shut-down all activity, that is simply a luxury that a small start-up can not afford, it will be pretty quiet here on the Chilmark Research website until March 25th.  Will come back fully refreshed providing myself just enough time to fully prepare for the onslaught that is HIMSS. Which reminds me; if you wish to meet at HIMSS, please let me know (you’ll find my email address in the presentation of previous post) and I’ll see what I can do.   Dance card is basically packed both Mon & Tue but still have some openings to meet on Sunday and Wed morn.

Till then, be well, eat well, sleep well and give someone you love a hug.

Probably the first time I’ve seen the same primary focus two years in a row – historically we’ve always seen a new buzzword / hype topic every year…
