Brad Sjosten joined Chilmark Research in 2018 as the Director of Business Development, and brings an amassed roster of diverse experiences from the medical device & manufacturing, multimedia, and finance industries. During the last 15 years, Brad has gravitated his focus to helping others succeed by working collaboratively in a business development and sales leadership capacity.
Prior to joining Chilmark Research, Brad worked most recently with leading healthcare manufacturers Covidien, Medtronic, and Cardinal Health during a period of rapid merger & acquisition transitions. This experience of being challenged with multiple new sales and business development projects, external partnership relations management duties, and internal sales mentorship responsibilities provided practical B2B, Clinician, and Patient Engagement experiences across the continuum of care in the constantly changing healthcare environment. Brad was the Medtronic Sales Representative of the Year in 2016 with the Minimally Invasive Therapies Group; He was then promoted to Global Key Account Manager, a highly visible role in which he was responsible for managing the relationship with the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Offices, and all Military Treatment Facilities Globally.
Brad received his BS from the University of Rhode Island in 2004, where he focused on Business Management, Marketing, and Economics. During his time at URI, Brad also had the honor of playing Division 1 soccer, and was the first student from Rhode Island to be selected by UCLA in a transfer program to study marketing.
Brad lives in Rhode Island with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer, spending time with family, surfing, and continuously learning new information from leaders across all industries in a conscious effort to always be improving.
