Next-up DC & the eHealth Initiative Event

by | Dec 3, 2008

Over the next couple of days I’ll be attending the eHealth Initiative’s (eHI) annual event.  Being in DC, as one might expect, the agenda is absolutely loaded with policy wonks, lobbyists, congressional staffers and countless others that have some “stake” ($$$) in healthcare.

Was hoping to get a good read on developments in the HIE/RHIO market as eHI publishes an annual report on the topic, but looking at the agenda, that does not appear to be a top of mind subject here in DC, instead it looks like it’s all about eRx, comparative effectiveness and a few other tried and true topics (privacy, engagement, etc.).

Either way, I’m sure there will be something to learn which will be conveyed either here, via live posts or you I may even try Twitter (signed up recently – john-chilmark is my tag)
