EMR Adoption a Top Three Challenge

Today, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) released the results of a survey conducted earlier this year whose purpose was to determine what are the top challenges members are facing. Among the some 34 challenges listed, EMR selection and implementation was one of the top three, following closely behind rising operating costs and declining revenue.     Adopting an EMR and switching over to the electronic system is for sure a challenge, however, there are huge long term benefits of using an EMR.
